End of Year Blog Post

 It was a very interesting and fast year here in the computer lab.  Since we only had computer class teice a week I barely felt sometimes the class existed. But even though we had the class for so little time we did a pretty  good amount of work. Some stuff  I enjoyed throughout the year was making videos for earth day and our stop motion. I also enjoyed working with Photoshop and cool computer software it showed me that a computer is much more useful,  than just going on Facebook.Somethings I didn't like that we used or worked with in the computer class were. I never really liked the typing test I got really bored and got frustrated with all the capitals and long words. I also, wasn't a big fan of Excel to me its a boring software since I'm a 14 year old not a 26 year old accountant. Despite those two programs , i really enjoyed computer class and cant wait for next year.

My Experience With Computer Office Software

 Me and Computer Office Software have a long and interesting history.I remember the first time I used PowerPoint it was not nice . I imagine having your first slide all the way in the bottom and your second in the middle. The same happened when I used Word I had all the texts in different fonts and had like 10 pages for only 4 small paragraphs. The list goes on and on with all my failures with Software like Word and PowerPoint. But once when i was using Excel and found out how to do all the formulas and everything. After like a whole class of understanding the formulas I finish my worked. But lucky me accidentally erased all of it. But as time passed I learned and my presentations were more entertaining and I got higher grades. It just takes practice to learn who to master these programs and a lot of patience as well. As i said me and Computer Working Software go far back.

Earth Video

 This project was a fun and difficult project. Me and Ricardo were partners for this project. I really  like that we had to do our own original project . With our own photos , music and lyrics that was really interesting it kind of challenged me. Something i didn't like is that we didn't have enough time during the week . Since we have computers 2 week which isn't enough. So we had to get together on the weekends on work on it. My partner did help me alot with this project . He did all the windows movie thing since he knows hwo to work the program.


This video also helped us learn about earth . We realized that earth is  in pain right now . Form polluted seas to animal extinctions and green house  gases. But Ive realized that many people here are taking action. And are cleaning beaches recycling etc...I honestly in my apart don't do anything to help earth but i should do . We should spread out the word about helping earth wit my friends . Also Aspv should go into action and make this school earth friendly. Heres my video

MARCH MADNESS

 March Madness has finally come to and end. March Madness basically consists of  7th graders playing each other on typing tests. It's like a tournament there many rounds and you can be eliminated. People go against each other  and who ever has the highest . Net Speed moves on to the next round to duel another opponet . In our class we  took on this tournament for about 2 weeks. It was a very interesting and exciting competion . But at the end there was only on winner. Which was MKangaaro ( Marina).....

  Let me tell you a little about what I went through in March Madness! When the teacher told us we were going to do it. I knew I wouldn't have a chance . To begin with  I don't type fast and there's people in my class that know pretty well . The location of the letters in a keyboard. So when the first days of the competition began . I missed it because I had  pink eye. When I got back I played against 2 good rivals and got eliminated. I wasn't that sad I kind knew I was going to get it. So as the competition went on there were only 2 players left. M Kangaroo and LOLO both females.Mkangaroo stated that she wanted to lose because she didn't . Want the whole class behind her and making her nervous,but she overcame it and won .That was pretty much what happened through March Madness.

Waffles

I was born  a hot sunny day right next to the bay. I have 16 brothers and sisters but dont know my mother or father . I was raised by a pack of wolfs for 2 weeks who thought me how to survive on my own . Im currently 14 years old enjoying life to the fullest. Im usually by the sea either surfing or scuba diving. Ive live through many stuff for 14 years. Ive survived from tsunamis to tornadoes I ve seen heaven and seen very sad stuff. But all of those things make me who I am know. A great person whose typing skills arent great.

Winter Vacations

This 2010 winter vacations were pretty exciting. Apart from Christmas my favorite day of these vacations is the 15  of  December. Sounds like a normal but it isnt its the day school ends and vacations begin . One of my favorite days throughout the whole year apart from June 21 which is the day school ends and summer begins . Well enough of about my favorite days of the year . I want to talk about my Christmas vacation . I honestly didnt do that much compared to other years . But i did have a great time which was better then having a boring vacation.

So the vacations started the 15 I was so relieved school had ended . Throughout the 15 to 17 of dec. those were my days for  relaxing that meant really long naps all day . Also I took the advantage of those days to do homework i had gotten for the vacation. The 18 of dec. my brother and sister arrived from college. And we headed out to San Sebastian a little town up in the mountains me and family . Was it really cold so we spended about 2 days there.We went on horses on atv's we even went into mines . So I got back home the 20th from the 20th  to the 23th i did nothing really . Until the 24 of dec. where i went to this posada great food . The 25 of dic i got and xbox which i really wanted i was glad i got it .From the 25th to the 30th i just played xbox. New years wasn't much i just had a small party . That was my vacations
